1. SAMPLES:

• Fresh tissues should be delivered within 2 hours of collection; otherwise, they should be sent in 10% neutral buffered formalin.

• Paraffin blocks for consultation / review should be accompanied by the histological report, if available.

3. For patients outside the 'Evaggelismos' Hospital:

For publicly insured outpatients under EOPYY, an EOPYY prescription must be provided. For inpatients at public hospitals, either a hospital certificate stating the inability to perform the examination at the said hospital or an EOPYY prescription issued after discharge must be submitted.
